These are the tasks that everybody is required to complete. Donotattempt to edit this page, complete the question each week and submit it to me via e-mail.
Once everyone has made a submission, the answer from the previous week will be put up here as study notes.
Initial Task: Arrange yourselves into groups of 2-3, edit this page to put group members down the bottom of the Key Words page. Once it is complete I will insert the names, as a final copy, below.
Task 1: Provide a short history on Isaac Asimov. Include where and when he was born, what he studied and where, and what books on robots he published. List his Laws of Robotics.
Task 2: Research some tasks that robots are used for today (2-3 tasks different robots do). Why are the robots suitable to these tasks rather than humans? What are the robots exact actions to perform their task?
Task 3: Explain Actuators, Sensors and Control System, give an example of each. Explain how they all work together to make a robot function.
Task 4: Design your own simple robot. List its purpose, how it works (basic interaction of components) and any technical considerations which would make it difficult to make.
